ĐBP – I arrived in Điện Biên Phủ City on a misty evening in November, 2024. The cool mountain air and the warmth of its people left an indelible impression on me. The heartfelt hospitality of Điện Biên’s residents, from their eager greetings to their wistful farewells, deeply moved me.

ĐBP - The cultural exchange programme "Điện Biên – An Epic of the Century" was organised by the Hồ Chí Minh City Party Committee’s Commission for Publicity and Education in collaboration with the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Publicity and Education. The event took place on the evening of 27 November at 7/5 Square, Điện Biên Phủ City.

ĐBP – The Điện Biên Provincial People's Committee, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Việt Nam, organised a ceremony on Saturday to hand over and inaugurate facilities to serve the project on exploring the history of Điện Biên Phủ.

The billowing layers of clouds that blanket the Mường Khoe Valley create an intense attraction for young visitors.

ĐBP – The People’s Committee of Điện Biên District in Điện Biên Province on Friday presented the national intangible cultural heritage certificate for the art of costume decoration of the Lao people.

ĐBP – The 2024 National Great Unity Day celebration took place in Ổ Village, Lay Nưa Commune, Mường Lay Town in Điện Biên Province on Saturday morning.

ĐBP – Nearly 200 students from Thanh Yên and Noong Luống secondary schools in Điện Biên District, Điện Biên Province participated in a two-day experience programme called "Becoming Điện Biên Soldiers".

ĐBP - The Đà River in Mường Lay Town undergoes two distinct seasons: the rising waters season and the receding waters season. Around late September and early October, the river starts to swell, transforming the landscape into a breathtaking harmony of land and water, drawing in throngs of visitors from far and wide.
